Purpose:
Agape Outreach began as a vision to provide a secure future for both babies and their mothers seeking a positive change in their lives.
While the mothers pursue educational goals, they share in the normal duties involved in running Agape House such as cooking and cleaning.
The church based program sponsored by Mount Zion Temple Church provides transportation, and provides life and job skill training.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Smyth County Community Foundation is to support the mission of Smyth County Community Hospital by identifying and supporting qualified programs and projects which contribute to the improved physical, mental, and emotional health status of the citizens of Smyth County and the service area of Smyth County Community Hospital.
